The Liberty Cell came into being when four founding board members of the Grass Roots Institute of Texas, disappointed with the leadership and lack of progress there, chose to resign and create a new entity. The four are Jim Cardle, publisher of the Texas Insider, Bobby Eberle, founder of GOPUSA, Johnny Lovejoy II, President/CEO, Lovejoy and Associates and Jim Lyde, retired Executive Director of the Texas Municipal Police Association. The first letters of their last names form the acronym “CELL.” As observers and participants in legislative affairs, the realization has come that our national governmental leadership is entrenched in a system characterized by incompetence, greed, dishonesty and gridlock.
TLC has been established to create a responsible dialogue among truth-seeking citizens concerned with preserving freedom in the United States. The responsible beliefs and ideas of all will be considered.
* The Liberty Cell will be a forum for developing solutions based on merit to vital American issues. This society has a thirst for the truth, and TLC is a vehicle to determine the validity of the issues and how best to address them.
* No subject is outside the scope of The Liberty Cell. We will discuss such things as immigration, healthcare, manufacturing, financial institutions, the workforce, social concerns and governmental philosophy.
* TLC will publish and consider the views of experts and authorities on all relevant topics.
* TLC will present one or many points of views on various subjects and ask for comments. Subscribers are known as CELL DWELLERS. Subscriptions are only $10.00 per year. More generous participants are designated as being Founding Fathers.
* From these comments and expertise, TLC will strive to develop real solutions to the situations being addressed and publish those proposed solutions as TLC brings forth other issues.
* TLC will provide proposed solutions to elected officials, then track and publish their responses. However, TLC will not endorse any candidate or participate in any political campaign.
* TLC plans to create a charitable funding source known as THE LIBERTY ENDEAVOR. The Liberty Endeavor will be funded by separate donations by CELL DWELLERS and other generous parties.
